CAMPAIGN

23 May

First came the idea of using pictures of frightened animals to represent the way they live in constant fear. I wanted them to be on a white background so they are isolated. I came across pictures like this:

Then I wanted to add the human character. The only thing important was to send out the message it is an adult abusing the animal. Hands was all I needed. You can easily tell whether a hand belongs to an adult or a child, a man or a woman. The hands also had to represent anger, danger but also confusion.

From there on I started off with the animal picture and Photoshopped it into a red dangerzone. The hand became like the hand of the devil – fully red.

For the content I used the following article giving general information about the situation: http://www.buzzle.com/articles/animal-abuse-statistics.html I found good facts I could bring out to make my campaign more informative.

For the logo I needed a very simple picture that represented caring for animals. I came across a picture very simple yet very suitable as the message. I decided to give it a little color before using it as my logo.

All I needed was a name for my logo and I decided to go with a very clear and simple one – Animal Welfare which also clearly tells the aim of the organisation.

Workshop 07

A postcard with a little positive wish. My inspiration was a friend from University on her second year who has a lot to do for the deadlines and I already sent it to her as well.

A POLITICAL AD OR PROTEST FOR A MAGAZINE

I found a website (http://www.audacityofhypocrisy.com/fashion-shows/) dedicated to Obama’s lies found from his speeches etc and that was an inspiration to my image.

Flyer of a Halloween party for young adults 18 – upwards

The main point is to make it scary because Halloween is all about creepy costumes and creating a scary atmosphere. A lot of people are scared of clowns for some reason and adding his face hands with blood dripping knives should be creepy enough.

Pharrell is a hip-hop artist and putting him inside a money note just seemed like  a good idea for a cover since he is wearing a T-shirt saying Billionaire Boys Club plus most importantly the music genre itself  often makes songs songs about money.

I cut a hole into the note, cut Pharrell out, added him some glow and put a green pattern as background. The font Stencil has been used for the text and it has been added shadow and glow. The colours I have used for the text are from the picture.
